Friends of Kings Grant,
To celebrate the season, the Kings Grant Community League will decorate Witt Park (the duck park along Kings Grant Road) for the holidays. We are asking for your help in the form of your time and/or donations of strings of white outdoor mini-LED lights and outdoor extension cords. Our plan this year is simple, to decorate a few of the crepe myrtle trees that line the park, add a few red bows and some stars. We plan to decorate the park on Saturday, December 5th at 9a.m. and continue on December 6th at 1p.m. If you have a white LED string to donate and hang (many businesses have them on-sale now), or if you just want to help, please come join us. The KGCL will purchase a small number of light strings that residents may purchase from us at our cost on Saturday morning. Children are welcome to assist.
