Work to construct the below grade (underground) portion of the new sanitary pump station on Kings Grant Road near Sunnybrook Lane is complete. Neighbors may have noticed (and heard) the large steel cofferdam segments being pulled from the ground for the past several days and stacked at the site. These were the temporary walls for the deep hole (approximately 30’ below ground) where the heavily reinforced concrete wet well for sewage collection was built. The placement and removal of these steel segments was a noisy event heard for blocks. It won’t be long before the above ground work begins. The large crane that has been a fixture along the road for the past six months will soon be gone. Work is scheduled to complete near the end of November. Landscaping of the work site and restoration of the Triangle property will be done at that time.
