50 years of Service

Founded in 1962, King’s Grant Community League is a non-profit, volunteer organization of King’s Grant neighbors. KGCL, Inc. owns three properties that our volunteer members maintain as open space for all residents’ use.

KG Park

The League’s leadership is an elected board of officers and directors. The officers and board of directors:

  • Provides stewardship of the properties
  • Holds fiduciary responsibility for the league
  • Recruits new members
  • Organizes community activities
  • Fundraises for property improvements
  • Maintains governance of league business
  • Liaises with City of Virginia Beach and other community service organizations on behalf of league members

Membership fees are $20. Membership pays for beautification and restoration projects in common areas, social events, and a quarterly newsletter.
